Content overview

This presentation was showcased during the Crystalline training webinar that took place on April 11, 2024. You can watch a recording of the webinar in the Webinars section, click here to access.

About the training:

Particle size distribution (PSD) and crystal morphology are crucial pieces of information for crystallization process development and have a significant influence on downstream processes such as filtration and drying. The Crystalline V2 introduces new software features for real time particle size and shape analysis of an experiment at mL scale.

In this training presentation, we discussed how to use and optimize these new features to successfully collect and determine PSD and shape detection analysis.

The training is designed for Crystalline V2 users who would like to deepen their understanding of the instrument features and how to effectively use them in their research, as well as Crystalline V1 users who would like to understand the benefits the V2 can bring to their lab.

Topics covered:

  1. How to capture your particles clearly
  2. How to select the right detection mode for your images
  3. How to measure PSD in your experiment
